Our Practice Nurses are available by appointment for advice about any health matters, including immunisations and dressings . They carry out blood pressure checks, ECGs, cervical smears, and health checks for newly registered patients and patients with long term conditions, including asthma, diabetes or high blood pressure.

Please note that blood tests ordered by your doctor are carried out by our Health Care Assistant (who is a trained phlebotomist) in a separate clinic, not by practice nurses, so please specify your requirement when booking an appointment.

Health care assistants carry out duties in support of the nurse team. They may take blood samples, do ECGs, blood pressures, and some long term condition reviews.
