Message to our patients – update on the COVID-19 vaccination programme

Locally, the site at Shape Mendip has recently closed but has reopened again within the Haskins Store, Shepton Mallet as of September 2022. This is to administer the Autumn Covid Booster.

The team will be delivering vaccines to Care home residents and Housebound patients. They will provide updates on their FB page and through local communications. Please read all this information as is covers all eligible groups and the activity.

In the meantime there are other vaccine sites where you can get a vaccine and all can be found on the links placed below.

It’s never too late to get your COVID-19 vaccination, as the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones against the Corona-19 virus including new variants.

The team at Shape have managed to deliver 90, 522 vaccinations to our community – thank you to all the workers and the many volunteers who have done such a marvellous job.

COVID-19 Update August 2022

We still wish to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and staff, especially those who are more vulnerable to infection. Therefore we ask you when visiting the surgery to continue to wear a mask, if you do not have one these are available in the Surgery. Please do not attend if you are experiencing any Covid symptoms including cough, sore throat etc. before telephoning the Surgery seeking advice.

Our staff will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) including face masks during face to face appointments. Please do not attend the surgery unless you have an appointment arranged in advance or have been asked to attend by a clinician.
