PRESCRIPTION ADVICE
06.09.24 - 'Please would patients ensure that they return all used or unwanted inhalers to community pharmacies or dispensaries for disposal'.* We would remind patients that we do not take prescriptions over the telephone. This is because we have no audit trail of what is being ordered and it leaves us open to incorrect prescriptions being requested
** Please allow 48 hours for repeat prescription collection

There are several ways to request a repeat prescription:
You can use:
1 Accurx is a system that we use to receive Dr’s appointment requests and related queries from patients. We have tailored it so patients can also us it to request prescriptions. Order a Prescription via Accurx.
2 The NHS App provides a simple and secure way for people to access a range of NHS services on their smartphone or tablet. You can log into your account using the NHS App or the NHS website. Find our more about NHS App.
3 You can simply drop in a request at the Surgery. Please use your repeat slip, or write your name, address and date of birth on on a note and post in our prescription box just inside the door.
Prescriptions dropped through the letterbox when the surgery is closed will not be processed until the next working day and you should allow additional time to collect your prescription, e.g., prescriptions left over the weekend will not be ready for collection until Wednesday.
4 You can use Patient Access which is an NHS wide service that allows patients to order repeat prescriptions and discover local health services for you or your family via your mobile or home computer.
